Southeast Village Enrichment Club
We are excited to announce plans for a before and after school program designed for Southeast Christian families. This unique program will assist families with students needing care before school, starting at 7:00 a.m. and aftercare, with pick up as late as 6:00 p.m.
Days of Operation
All K-8 student contact and half days
Hours of Operation
Before School Session 7:00 – 8:00 a.m.
After School Session 3:20 – 6:00 p.m.
Half Day Sessions 11:20 – 6:00 p.m.
Enrollment Fee – $25.00 (covers software licensing fees and insurance for the program)
Before School Session – $8.50 (Includes a healthy breakfast)
After School Session with pick up between 3:20 – 5:00 p.m. – $15.00 (includes healthy snacks)
After School Session with pick up between 3:20 – 6:00 p.m. – $20.00 (includes healthy snacks)
Half-Day Session 11:20 – Pick up between 3:20 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. (includes lunch and snacks) – $50.00
Late fee $5.00 per every 5 minutes late.
Includes breakfast and a fun before school activities including free play (games, puzzles, and/or a movie.)
Recess/Free Play 3:30 – 4:00 p.m.
Snack Time/Assisted homework/Reading Club 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Organized activity 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. (Art, movies, technology, other extracurricular activities/outside programs)
About the Program
The program will provide educational support, partnering with your student’s teachers, fun games and activites, and a safe and secure environment while allowing parents to finish out the work day.
We are also excited to coordinate with local programs and professionals to provide an additional enrichment opportunities during the student’s time attending the program. This will include special classes such as dance, science labs, self-defense programs, wood working, and other unique programs designed for students. Coordinating with local private tutors, during this time, may serve your child’s needs as well. These extra-curricular programs may carry an additional cost and are not mandatory for families attending the program.
In order to role the program out, we must have a minimum of 10 families with students planning to attend regularly. We are happy to offer drop in care to suit the needs of parents needing a place for his/her student to stay until picked up. The program coordinator will always be available by cell phone to find out space availability for special circumstances.
Scheduling for the following week must be in place and fees must be paid in advance for students to attend. Drop in care must be paid on the day of care. All forms of payment are accepted.
The program will follow all state guidelines regarding student/adult ratios, and other regulations put in place to ensure the safety and security of students in the program.
This program was developed and proposed to the school by Shelley Hummel. She is a mother of three sons and her child, Wyatt, attends fifth grade at Southeast Christian. Her related experience includes directing a kindergarten enrichment program and working in before and after school programs within Cherry Creek School district. She has served in many roles, as a volunteer, with Southeast Christian and is well known and trust by the community. Shelley’s education includes an emphasis on science, she has extensive medical training, and she is CPR and first aid certified. Shelley is kind and loving, and is excited for this program to be part of the village it takes to raise a child.
