Board of Directors
Southeast Christian board members provide a united body for oversight, direction, and community engagement for the school and its staff.
Under the leadership of the chairperson, the purpose of the School Board is to direct, protect, and enable through policy governance of the organization and act as the primary connection between the organization and those to whom the organization is responsible which is defined as the church community, the public school community, Southeast Christian school community, civic leaders in the Southeast Denver metro area, the Association of Christian Schools International, and community service non-profits in the Southeast Denver metro area.
Dean and his wife Tracey along with their sons Matt and Nate have attended Southeast Christian Church for 15 years. Dean and his sons can be found most Sunday mornings assisting with the communion and offering.
Read MoreDean is the owner of a local commercial cleaning company that he started in 2000 after 8 years of teaching at Walla Walla High School. Dean taught various science classes along with a vocational class. Dean also coached football and wrestling and helped with the local Young Life group. Dean earned his bachelor’s degree from Montana State University and his master’s degree from Eastern Washington University. Dean also served 12 years in the US Army Reserves as an electrician.
A husband and proud father of two. His son graduated from Southeast Christian in May 2017 and daughter graduated in May 2019. Doug is CFO and Co-Founder of Atrilogy Solutions Group and has been for 20+ years.

In addition to serving as Treasurer of the SECS School Board, Doug also serves as Treasurer for Frontier Labourers for Christ (FLC). FLC is a Christian outreach organization serving Thailand, Myanmar and Laos.
Hunter and his wife, Shawna, have four children attending Southeast Christian School. Hunter has just retired from Active Duty after serving as an Army officer for over 28 years. He has joined the Northrop Grumman Space Division team in Aurora as a Deputy Department Manager.

Hunter has extensive experience in leading, influencing, and equipping organizations for positive impact. He also attends and serves at Southeast Christian Church hosting a weekly home fellowship group. He is committed to serving the families of Southeast Christian School and impacting the community for Christ.
Michael and his wife, Katie, have two children that have attended Southeast Christian School since 2011, and they are currently enrolled in the Southeast Christian School Homeschool program.
Read MoreMichael owns a commercial construction company that specializes in emergency response work for the Federal Government as well as aviation, recreation, K-12, collegiate level, civil, and energy sector facilities. He is a Service Disabled Veteran of the US Army having served with the 3rd US Infantry (the Old Guard). In his time with the Old Guard, he served as Personal Escort to the President of the United States during the Clinton administration. Michael has his Associates Degree in Architectural Engineering and holds an Executive Certificate in Leadership & Management from the University of Notre Dame. He also serves as a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and the Aurora Defense Council. He and his wife have been members of Southeast Christian Church since 2004 and have been actively volunteering in various ministries.
Doug and his wife, Anna, and their three children moved to Parker in August of 2019 when he accepted the position of Family Ministries Director at Southeast Christian Church.

Doug started his career in education in 2002, working in various capacities as a paraprofessional, teacher, high school football coach, curriculum and instruction consultant, and administrator. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Lewis-Clark State College in 2005 and his M.Ed from the University of Idaho in 2015. He is looking forward to using his experience and calling in serving the families of Southeast Christian Church and Southeast Christian School.
Adam and his wife, Viktoria have five children, Sebastien, Giovanni, Trinity, Sofia and Viviana. Sebastien graduated from Southeast Christian School in 2019 and currently attends Lutheran High School.

Adam attended University of Northern Colorado as a Bilingual Education major and currently operates a franchise of 15 McDonald’s Restaurants around metro Denver and the mountains. Adam is currently working on joining Viktoria as a Real Estate Broker with Berkshire Hathaway.
Susan and her husband, Jim have three boys, James, Jacob and Jackson at Southeast Christian School for the last 7 years, since they were all 3 three years old. She is a native of Colorado and attended Metropolitan State College of Denver.

She and her husband Jim have recently expanded to open a Parker real estate office, Realty ONE Group Elevations and also live in Parker. Susan is often told that her career is her ministry and she takes that responsibility very seriously. She has a heart for SECOR and her company holds an event every year to give back to this amazing organization. Susan and her family are active members at Southeast Christian Church.
Missy and her husband Ken have lived in Centennial since 2006 and have one beautiful daughter, Ruby. Their daughter has been attending Southeast Christian School since 2012.
