- Southeast Christian School is blessed to contract with a very gifted nurse, Mrs. Alicia Tormoehlen, for its nursing services. Although Mrs. Tormoehlen does not office on-site, she is available as an on-call resource for the school.
- Mrs. Tormoehlen has been wonderful to work with throughout the last year, and provided an invaluable resource to the school during COVID-19. Much of our COVID-19 protocols were suggested and given by Alicia. In addition, Alicia makes herself available to the school at events such as the gymnastics program to offer assistance as necessary.
- Mrs. Tormoehlen also keeps the school up-to-date with resources for common health concerns in schools like lice, pink eye, flu season, etc.
- In addition to Mrs. Tormoehlen’s services, our main office coordinator, Mrs. Jennifer Buss, has her Associate’s Degree in nursing sciences and many years of experience in first aid.
- All of our wonderful staff, Preschool through Eighth-Grade are required to complete and keep current the following trainings: Mandatory Reporting, Crisis Prevention and Intervention, Stop the Bleed, Universal Precautions, Basic First Aid, and CPR & AED. Select staff members are also trained in and keep current: Medication Delegation and Administration, Diabetes, and Seizure First Aid.
