Biblical Integration
Biblical Integration is the foundation of academics at SCS. It is more than just memorizing Bible verses. Our teachers are trained to integrate Biblical truths about God, Creation, Humanity, Moral Order, and Purpose throughout every discipline. Students are encouraged throughout class to think about not only the content they are learning, but how it stands up to what God’s Word says is true.
- Preschool: At SCS Preschool, we use Bible-based curriculum and instruction in all classes. We teach all of our students that they can have an authentic, personal relationship with God and an identity in Christ. Students hear Bible stories throughout their week, and even have opportunities for age-appropriate service projects during the school year.
- Lower Elementary: During their Bible class, Kindergarten through 3rd-Grade students focus on memorizing Bible verses and learning significant characters/stories from Scripture.
- Upper Elementary: In 4th-Grade, students go in-depth into the Old Testament books as their focus in Bible class. In 5th-Grade, students go in-depth into the New Testament books as their focus in Bible class.
- Middle School: In 6th-Grade, students have the opportunity to study the foundations of a Biblical Worldview, and begin to have apologetics conversations. In 7th-Grade, students study the story of the Old Testament. And in 8th-Grade students study the Life of Christ. All Middle School students continue to have Bible as a core academic class, and also have the opportunity to take a Discipleship elective class.

At Southeast Christian School, our goal is to come alongside you as parents to help mold and shape your child into a disciple of Christ. As students graduate from SCS, our hope is that they move onto higher education with a firm grasp on what Scripture says about God, Creation, Humanity, Moral Order, and Purpose, and that those beliefs will influence how they interact with the world. You can find those beliefs here.
