Southeast Christian School Health/Nurse Information
Southeast Christian School contracts with Alicia Tormoehlen, RN, BSN, for its nursing services. Although Alicia does not office on-site, she is available as an on-call resource for the school. Alicia has been wonderful to work with throughout the last several years, and provided an invaluable resource to the school during COVID-19; many of our COVID-19 protocols were suggested and given by her. In addition, Alicia makes herself available to the school at events such as the gymnastics program to offer assistance as necessary, and currently keeps the school up-to-date with resources for common health concerns in schools like: lice, pink eye, flu season, etc.

If your student requires medication or a medical health plan, you must submit a medical form to the school each year. Forms can be found under “resources” on your FACTS Family Portal and here.
In addition to Mrs. Tormoehlen’s services, our main office coordinator, Mrs. Jennifer Buss, has her Associate’s Degree in nursing sciences and many years of experience in first aid. She acts as the on-site nurse during normal school hours.
All of our wonderful staff, Preschool through Eighth-Grade are required to complete and keep current the following trainings: Mandatory Reporting, Stop the Bleed, Universal Precautions, Basic First Aid, and CPR & AED. Select staff members are also trained in and keep current: Medication Delegation and Administration, Diabetes, Seizure First Aid, and Crisis Prevention & Intervention.
