Christ-centered education in

ELEMENTARY REGISTER

Elementary

Elementary school at Southeast serves students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Students in these grades are assigned to a primary classroom for their core subjects. Additional class subjects such as art, physical education and music are attended throughout the week that allow students the experience of different teachers and also provide important exposure to enrichment opportunities. Our teachers bring energy and variety to the classroom to encourage a love of learning that prepares students for middle school and beyond.

ACADEMICS

The elementary school years are a time of exponential growth and learning for students in many areas including skills, knowledge and independence. These years are important for developing a love of learning and for building a solid foundation in all areas of life. Instructions in all subjects are designed with the goal to challenge students to use their God-given abilities to glorify Him. Students are challenged by an integrated Christian world view curriculum from a variety of Christian publishers as well as other secular publishers.

INTEGRATION OF FAITH IN ACADEMICS

We exist to provide a Christ-centered education, preparing God’s children a firm understanding of all subjects at each grade level within a Christian world view so that the body of Christ may be built up (Ephesians 4:12). Southeast’s well-rounded and structured curriculum offers students a solid academic foundation while emphasizing sound biblical teachings in all subjects.
